Abstract
1.Friends…’Asato Ma Sat Gamay’ means let me move from untruth to truth.
2.‘Tamaso ma Jyotir Gamay’ means let me move from darkness to light.
3.‘Murtyo Ma Amrutam Gamay’ means let me from death to immortality.
4.There are many such prayers we do.
5.Let me get beauty, health, wealth & clarity of thoughts.
6.Yoga keeps us young, cheerful and dynamic.
7.Don’t accept the tradition before questioning it.
8.Yoga was questioned in recent times by Dr. H. R. Nagendra and Dr. R. Nagarathna as remedy to illness.
9.Then it is scientifically proved as remedy to many illnesses through much research work.
10.Let us meditate on smiling face of Lord Krishna.

(American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy - optional). He is presently
the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team.
He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large
number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave
