Abstract
1.Friends…Yoga is dexterity, perfection and peace.
2.Aiming at perfection and doing work peacefully is yoga.
3.Energy is required for performing yoga.
4.Energy comes from cosmos and soul.
5.It is science which brings out energy from element and yoga brings energy of body.
6.Human energy comes from desire, knowledge, will and action.
7.Desire gains knowledge and knowledge develops into action.
8.When desire is divine or noble, it is Bhakti Yoga to attain Trans.
9.Trance is blissful or ecstatic state.
10.Determination to achieve Trance is Raj Yoga. Let’s meditate now on Krishna.
Prof K Subramanyam PhD
Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature
(American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy - optional). He is presently
the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team.
He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large
number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave
magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
