Abstract

1.I wish you happy, prosperous and wonderful ‘Ram Navami’.
2.It is great auspicious day to worship ‘Sri Rama’ within us.
3.Culture is what we are. Civilization is what we have.
4.In Ramayana, Ravana was Rajasic person having ego and arrogance.
5.Lord Rama was Satvic person having modesty and compassion.
6.Rama was equanimous between crown of kingdom and exile to forest.
7.He accepted exile to forest just to keep words of his father.
8.Charity, self-control and compassion are three tenets of religion given by him.
9.‘Chandra’ means ‘moon’. He is called ‘Ramchandra’ because he emitted cheerfulness and calmness like moon.
10.Sri Rama was great incarnation and role model for human excellence.

Vice-chancellor of S-VYASA With his PhD in Mechanical Engineering, he was a NASA research assosiate and consultant at Harvard University before his interests turned to full-time involvement in human engineering and the search for ultimate Reality. His life mission is the scientific exploration of the subtle aspects of consciousness through yoga.He has 30 research papers in Engineering and 60 in Yoga.He has written more than 30 books on yoga.
