Abstract

.Suprabhatam, Sushwagatam……(good morning and welcome)
.Karma yoga is to convert every action into yoga.
.For doing that, we need to recognize our Gunas – Tamas (Lethargic), Rajas (Go Getter) and Satva (Godliness)
.We have Guna questionnaire to know our Gunas. Then we need to change from Tamas to Rajas to Satva.
.There were different characters in epics depicting characters with Gunas.
.Sri Rama in Ramayana was most Satvic person. Whereas, Ravana was Rajasic and Kumbhakarna was Tamasic.
.Lord Rama used to believe in ‘Matru devo bhav’ (mother is goddess).’ Pitru devo bhav’ (father is god).
.‘Goodness is everything’ is key phrase in religion. Everything was subordinated to religion.
.‘Dana’ (giving), Daya (compassion) and Dama (control over senses) are the Satvic Gunas. Thus Satvic persons are role models in religion.
.India is made by dwelling into its culture. Culture is what we are. Civilization is what we have. Let’s meditate.
