Abstract

1.Friends …Yoga is equanimity in mind.
2.Yoga is skill in action.
3.Yogi is always smiling, peaceful and useful.
4.‘Is there any person who is Karma yogi?’ Arjuna asked.
5.‘Hanuman was a karma yogi’ replies Krishna.
6.A karma yogi does not require recognition.
7.Many peoples contribution to great things like freedom of India, making of Prashanti Kutiram and other achievements have been forgotten. Several karma yogis remain unsung.
8.When doer and deed are merged, it is Karma yoga.
9.When song and singer can not be distinguished, they become one work. That is bliss of work.
10.Let’s contribute to glory of Prashanti Kutiram and meditate on smiling face of lord Krishna.

Prof K Subramanyam PhD
Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature (American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy - optional). He is presently the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team. He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
