Abstract

1.Swami Vivekananda said ‘Each soul is potentially divine.’
2.That divinity is manifested through Yoga.
3.We all are engaged in activity.
4.Change or movement is inevitable, therefore, action is inevitable.
5.Every action is combination of good and evil.
6.Life is long chain of action and reaction.
7.We all are like actors playing different roles in society.
8.Karma Yoga in modern terminology is professional ethics.
9.Love, service and sacrifice make Karma Yoga.
10.Being perfectly useful to others is Karma Yoga. Let’s meditate on smiling face of greatest Karma Yogi, Lord Krishna.

 

Prof K. Subramanyam PhD
Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature (American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy - optional). He is presently the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team. He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
