Abstract

1.Jnana Yoga is path of intellect to transcend intellect.
2.First step in Jnana Yoga is listening, reading or browsing.
3.Vedas and Upanishads (old scriptures) are classified into Shruti, Smruti & Nyaya Prasthana.
4.Second step is questioning, investigating & understanding knowledge received.
5.Knowledge of everything is divided into secular and divine education.
6.Third step is experimentation or practice of theories learned so far.
7.Prana governs mind, intellect and body.
8.Silence is pure happiness state from which all thoughts arises.
9.Upon fathoming reality, we find bliss is equivalent to peace. Death is nothing but merger with totality.
10.Let’s contemplate on these thoughts and meditate to discover that silence is gap between thoughts. It is source of happiness.

Vice-chancellor of S-VYASA With his PhD in Mechanical Engineering, he was a NASA research assosiate and consultant at Harvard University before his interests turned to full-time involvement in human engineering and the search for ultimate Reality. His life mission is the scientific exploration of the subtle aspects of consciousness through yoga.He has 30 research papers in Engineering and 60 in Yoga.He has written more than 30 books on yoga.
