Abstract

1.Jnana Yoga is path of intellect to attain Moksha.
2.It begins with Sravana (listening), Manana (studying and understanding), Nidhiyasana (practice with experimentation) and ends with Moksha.
3.The qualities required in students are respecting, questioning and serving.
4.Pranipada means respecting teacher by surrendering oneself and keeping mind open.
5.Praniprashna means questioning the inexperienced facts as per level of understanding.
6.In olden times, Seva means serving teachers in gurukulam. In modern times, it is assistance ship to teachers.
7.Qualities a teacher should possess are deep knowledge and vast experience.
8.Nidhiyasana is practice of knowledge, meditation, inner research and contemplation.
9.Thoughts are waves coming from ocean of silence. In last stage, we reach bliss. Bliss is silence and total satisfaction.
10.Such stage is called Sthithi Prajna (equanimity) or Jivan Mukta or Moksha. Let’s contemplate on these thoughts and meditate with beautiful smile.

Vice-chancellor of S-VYASA With his PhD in Mechanical Engineering, he was a NASA research assosiate and consultant at Harvard University before his interests turned to full-time involvement in human engineering and the search for ultimate Reality.
