Abstract
1.Upanishads were source of inspiration to Swami Vivekananda.
2.He considered each soul is potentially divine. This basic thought made Narendra as ‘Vivekananda’.
3.‘Viveka’ means ability to discriminate between good and bad.
4.When we open up inner eye, we find the world is immortal.
5.World is apparently material but inherently celestial.
6.World is full of solar and lunar cosmic energy.
7.Then we have spiritual or real energy.
8.When we understand this, we get inherent bliss.
9.‘Vivekananda’ is combination of such knowledge and bliss.
10.Today, we remember the greatness ‘Swami Vivekananda’ to receive his wisdom.

Dean of Academic Programs and also of the Division of Yoga-Spirituality.He was brought up in the traditional way in Samskrta and completed his Vidvat in Samskrta.He also went through the conventional degree,Master's degree in the same subject including PhD from Mysore University.He started teaching in Janaseva Vidyakendra,a residential school near Bangalore and developed many novel teaching techniques for effective communication.During his stay he also read and mastered various systems of philosophy: Advaita,Dvaita and Visistadvaita and gained insights into the Self.His practices to transform himself to fathom the higher dimensions of Reality took him to the path of yoga and spiritual lore.In 1994 he founded Veda Vijnana Gurukulam in Channena Halli.He has participated in numerous Samskrta,philosophical conferences in different part of the country and is involved in active research and published various articles and papers in the journals.
