Abstract

1.We are Brahman or pure consciousness which is our sweetest home.
2.Ego comes out of ignorance or wrong knowledge. It gives attachments to matter.
3.Ego gives rise to negative emotions which are called ‘Asuri Sampat’.
4.Attachments raise likes and dislikes.
5.Likes and dislikes bring anger, which causes loss of power of discrimination.
6.We get enslave to emotions like greed, lust, hatred, jealousy & infatuation.
7.Our intellect gives freedom which differentiates us from animal.
8.Bhakti Yoga is using freedom to culture our emotions.
9.Convert lust into love with sacrifice, sharing and giving.
10.Renunciation and service are key essence of Bhakti Yoga. Let’s contemplate on these thoughts and meditate with smile.

Vice-chancellor of S-VYASA With his PhD in Mechanical Engineering, he was a NASA research assosiate and consultant at Harvard University before his interests turned to full-time involvement in human engineering and the search for ultimate Reality. His life mission is the scientific exploration of the subtle aspects of consciousness through yoga.He has 30 research papers in Engineering and 60 in Yoga.He has written more than 30 books on yoga.
