Abstract
1.Friends…..Stead fastness to truth makes someone a great disciple.
2.Master plays role of mother, father and teacher.
3.In olden days, to achieve scholarship, wisdom and oneness with truth was goal of life.
4.Everybody wanted to acquire knowledge of Vedas.
5.Narada Bhakti Sutra by Narada Rishi (ancient scholars), Gayatri Mantra by Vishwa Mitra, Yoga Vasista by Vasista Rishi, Patanjali Yoga Sutra by Patanjali & Kama Sutra by Vatsayan were some the great literature.
6.Society had moved from intellectual pursuit to velour in warfare.
7.In the days of freedom struggle, we have highlighted spirit of patriotism.
8.Then materialism becomes goal of life after independence.
9.Now days, yoga is goal of life. Everyone wants to be a yogi.
10.Let’s meditate on smiling face of Lord Krishna.

Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature
(American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy - optional). He is presently
the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team.
He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large
number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave
magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
