Abstract

1.God or Brahman is material as well as instrumental cause of cosmos.
2.Some cause transforms while being effect.
3.E.g. when milk turns into curd, milk is no more there.
4.Curd can no way become milk.
5.On the other hand, water in river becomes sea and later it becomes clouds.
6.Water shower as rain in different rivers viz. Ganga, Kaveri and Mississippi.
7.At transactions level the division exist between different rivers.
8.Similarly, energy is packed in different matter. Reality is un-manifested.
9.Such un-manifested reality is featured with three Gunas Rajas (hyper active), Tamas (lethargic) and Satva (godliness).
10.Pure consciousness is beyond this un-manifested nature. That is god or Brahman.


Dr R Rangan,
brought up in the traditional way in vedic culture, did his Vedantic Studies under Sri Sivarama Krisna Sastry of Kanci Sankara Muth. He learnt Bhakti Shastras from Sri Krisnapremi Swamigal and Vyakarna and Sahitya Shastras from Sri Tirumalachary. He delivers discourses on Vedas, Upanishads, Epics and Puranas. He has published several books on Vedic Dharma and culture. He is a lecturer in the Division of Yoga and Spirituality, SVYASA. His PhD thesis was on the comparative study of Gurukula way of education with Modern Education.
