Abstract

1.Friends…Like body maintains temperature, mind can maintain tranquility.
2.Yoga helps to maintain tranquility of mind.
3.We must be in a position to see advantage in every disadvantage.
4.All curses might appear to be boon with such an attitude.
5.Positive outlook was propagated by Sri Ram Krishna and Swami Vivekananda.
6.Calmness and positive outlook are not enough. It requires constructive work.
7.Yoga has these three dimension; tranquility, positive outlook and team work.
8.Yogi has vision and is down to earth to implement.
9.Distribution of work according to aptitude is important.
10.Lord Krishna was humble and ready to serve all. Let’s meditate on smiling face of lord Krishna.

 

Prof K Subramanyam PhD
Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature (American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy - optional). He is presently the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team. He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
