RESULTS

The groups mean values are provided in Table 1. The data showed that on the baseline assessment the skin resistance fluctuation value (FV) was higher for the schizophrenic population, than the norms. However no actual statistics were used.

There was a significant reduction in the FV at the end of 4 months (P<0.05, two tailed t test), which was more marked (after 12 months, P<0.01, two tailed t test).
