Title: Yoga Teachers Training Course for Teachers abbreviated as YTTC

Objective of YTTC
To train teachers working in Government and Private educational institutions for introducing yoga in schools.

Duration and Timetable:

• The course shall be called Yoga Teachers Training Course abbreviated as (YTTC).
• The course shall be of one month duration.
• The calendar of events in respect of the course shall be fixed by the Committee Members from time to time.
• The examination for the subjects shall be conducted at the end of month, except when there are no candidates taking examination for any subjects.

Admission and Eligibility Prerequisites:

• To be eligible for admission to the course, Teacher’s teaching in Primary and Secondary Schools..
• The candidate shall have secured a minimum of 50% of marks.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Group I shall be considered eligible for admission if they have passed the qualifications obtaining not less than 40% of marks in aggregate.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT

• Each month is considered as a unit and the candidate has to put in a minimum attendance of 90% in each subject with a provision of condonation of 10% of the attendance by the Vice-chancellor on the specific recommendation of the Dean on the reasons such as medical grounds, University level sports and cultural activities, academic matters such as seminars, workshops and paper presentations.
