Method
We had trained many Yoga Teachers for this experiment as we wanted to carry out this experiment in many schools and in different cities. The Krouse Weber Test ( K.W. Test) was used to find out the minimum muscular fitness for the students. The experiment was carried out in 40 different schools. The K.W.Test was carried out to know the students who can pass the test. The students failed in the tests were divided in two groups, one test group and two control group. The test group students were taught the Surya namaskar and the practice continued for three weeks, 30 minutes daily. The K.W. Test was repeated after and the results were noted.
Results
Total number of students was 1444 who had failed in the K. W. Test (Initial Test ).There were 746 students in the test group. 326 students passed through the test and 420 failed. (These students were practicing Surya Namaskar for the period of three weeks). There were 698 students in the control group. 62 students passed through the test and 636 failed. (These students were not practicing Surya Namaskar during the same period of three weeks). The passing rate in test group was 43.7 % where as it was 8.9 % in control group. Using Kai-square test it was found that there is co relation between practice of Surya Namaskar and the passing rate in the Test.
