Students applying for YIC will be tested for English Proficiency starting March 2010 batch. Tests will be conducted to assess the Students' Verbal and Written English Skills.

The test will be conducted freely for the students. The Question Paper for the Written test will be sent through email or post. For the verbal examination, the students should call SVYASA on our English Departmental number and our faculty will assess the students in 10 minutes conversation time. The conversation of the verbal test will be recorded for official purposes.

If students do not make the grade, students will be asked to attend a English and Communications Skills course of FIVE-day duration before the beginning of the YIC course.

Please note that SVYASA Management reserves the decision to include candidates for the English and Communications Skills Course and the decision is final.

Students will go through the intensive FIVE-day, 20-hour module for ECS IP and will be allowed to participate in the YIC Course after due completion of the ECS IP course.

The cost for the ECS course is Rs 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) for Indians and US$ 150/- (USD One Hundred Fifty only) for non-Indians

The course will be conducted residentially at the Prashanti Kutiram campus.

Objective of YIC
Yoga is becoming popular day by day. A wave of yoga is sweeping across the globe. To introduce yoga as a science of Holistic living and not merely as yoga postures, SVYASA has been offering this course over the last 2 decades all over the globe with great benefits. At the conclusion of this course, the students will be able to teach yoga to the general public the holistic way, to prevent diseases, promote positive health and bring harmony and peace in the society.

Duration and Timetable:

  • The Residential Course shall be of One month duration.
  • Non-residential Course shall be of Three-and-half months duration

Admission and Eligibility Prerequisites:

  • To be eligible for admission to the course, the student should have completed 12th Std./II PUC/Plus two/12 years of education or equivalent with basic knowledge in English language
