Chapter 1 (15 hours)
The concept of Homeostasis, Regulatory systems of the body, Characteristics of control systems, Physiological basis of mind-body medicine, Fundamentals of cell biology, Principles of biological transport

Chapter 2 (15 hours)
Physiology of blood, Physiology of the heart , Homodynamic of circulation, Regulation of cardiovascular function, Mechanics of respiration and mechanism of gas exchange, Regulation of respiration, Physiology of temperature regulation, Adaptation to extremes of temperature, Adaptation to high attitude.

Chapter 3 (15 hours)
The journey of food through the mouth and stomach, Function of the small and large intestine, Regulation of gastrointestinal function, Renal Physiology, Endocrine system I, Endocrine system II, Physiology of skeletal muscles.

Chapter 4 (15 hours)
Introduction to nervous system, Sensory Physiology, Special senses, Motor function of the nervous system, The limbic system; the physiology of emotion, Hypothalamus, Physiology of sleep, Physiology of learning and memory, Physiology of exercise, Physiology of aging, Physiological responses to yogic practices and Physiology of mediation
