Objective:
To familiarize the students with the concepts of leadership and the methods and processes of managing change in organizations, society and at personal level
Course content
Unit 1:
Western and Eastern theories of leadership Indian role models of leadership:
Leadership lessons from mythology, history and corporate world Management by consciousness, Leadership by consciousness, Action by consciousness Leadership and change process.
Unit 2: Nature of change:
Incremental and radical, From linear models of change to application of chaos theory in understanding change, Strategic perspective of change and change management Change at personal level, change in society and change in organization contexts Biographies of well known business and social leaders, Biography analysis.

METRIC analysis, CINE Matrix for Strategic Gearing, SPOT analysis, SWAN model, Forward engineering, VSP (Vision-Strategy-Purpose) yantra, Grounded praxis approach to strategic management, Linking Strategy with ODM (Organization Development & Management), Holistic Performance Scorecard (HPSc), Character Competence of the Corporation.
