HUMAN SYSTEM ACCORDING TO YOGA

Chapter 1: (15 hours)
EVOLUTION OF BODY

i. Païcamahäbhütas, Païcatattvas and Païcatanmäträs.
ii. Evolution of human body in the context of Säìkhya yoga.
iii. Evolution of Jïänendriyas, Karmendriyas, Mahat, manas, Buddhi, Citta and Ahaàkära.
iv. Saptadhätus that make a human body.

Chapter 2: (15 hours)
PAÏCA KOÇA THEORY
i. Critical analysis of the story of Bhågu and Varuëa.
ii. The existence of five koças in the human body.
iii. The product of five koças.
iv. Disturbance of each koça.

Chapter 3: (15 hours)
CAKRAS AND MAËÒALAS
i. Introduction to Cakras.
ii. Evolution through the Cakras.
iii. Description of Mülädhära, Svädiñöhäna, Maëipura, Anähata, Viçuddhi, Bindubisarga and Sahasrära Cakras.
iv. Concept of Maëòalas, types and their work.

Chapter 4: (15 hours)
VÄYUS, NÄÒÉS AND SVARA YOGA
i. Concept of Väyus, type, their names and function.
ii. Concept of Näòés, their characteristics and name of 10 major Näòés and their functions.
iii. Difference between Iòä, Piìgalä and Suñumnä.
iv. Effects of Svarayoga as explained in the Haöha yogic texts, Relevance of Svara-vijïäna in day-today life and the importance of Svarodaya in health and disease.
