Chapter 1: (15 hours)
Hatha Yoga: Its Philosophy and Practices
i. Hatha Yoga, its meaning, definition, aims and objectives, in Haöha Yoga.
ii. The origin of Hatha Yoga, Important Hatha Yogic Texts.
iii. Dos and Don’ts to be followed by the Hatha Yoga Practitioner, concept of Mata, concept of Mitähära , Pathya (conducive) and Apathya (non-conducive).
iv. Brief introduction to Great Hatha Yogés of Nätha School and their contributions to Yoga, v.Relationship between Haöha Yoga and Räja Yoga.


Chapter 2: (20 hours)
Haöha Yogic Practices: Äsanas, And Bandhas – Mudräs
i. Yogäsana: its definition, Salient features.
ii. Äsanas in Haöha Yoga Pradépikä and Gheraëòa Samhitä: their techniques, benefits, precautions and importance in modern days.
iii. Bandhas and role of Bandhatrayas in Yoga Sädhanä.
iv. Fundamental Mudräs in HYP and G.S. - their techniques and benefits.

Chapter 3: (5 hours)
Haöha Yogic Practices: Ñaökriyäs And Präëäyämas
i. Ñaö-kriyas in Hatha Yoga Pradépikä, their techniques and precautions, role of Çodhan-kriyäs in Yoga Sädhanä and their importance in Modern day-to-day life.
ii. Pränäyäma – Yogic deep breathing, Concept of Püraka, Kumbhaka and Recaka.
iii. The concept of Präna, Kinds of Präna and Upa-pränas. Pränäyäma and its’ importance in Hatha Yoga Sädhanä.
iv. Pränäyäma practices in Hatha Yoga Pradépikä (HYP) and Gheraëòa Samhitä (G.S.), their techniques, benefits and precautions.


Chapter 4: (15 hours)
Haöha Yogic Practices:
Pratyähära, Nädänusandhäna

i. Concept of Pratyähära Gheraëòa Samhitä- their techniques and benefits.
ii. Types of Dhäraëäs and their benefits in Gheraëòa Samhitä.
iii. Types of Dhyänas and their benefits in Gheraëòa Samhita.
iv. Concept of Näda and Nädänusandhäna in Haöha Yoga Pradépikä.
