Chapter 1: (8 hours)
Introduction to Bhagavadgétä-1

i. General Introduction to Bhagavad Gétä (B.G.): Definitions of Yoga in B.G., Their relevance and Scope. The Glory of B.G.
ii. Essentials of B.G from Chapters II, III, IV, V, VI, XII, XVII with reference to Yoga and Ähära.
iii.Sthitaprajïa and its characteristics. Types of Bhaktas and role of a Bhakta in the context of Çrémad Bhagavad Gétä.
iv. Jïäna Yoga in the context of Çrémad Bahgavad Gétä.


Chapter 2: (8 hours)
Introduction to Bhagavadgétä – 2

i. Nature of Ätmä, Sthitaprajïa, Säìkhya Yoga, Karma Yoga, Karma Sannyäsa, Sakäma and Niñkäma karma.
ii. Nature of Dhyäna, preparation of Dhyäna and Dhyäna Yoga and Sannyäsayoga.
iii.Nature of Bhakti, Means and Goal of BhaktiYoga, Nature of Éçvara in Bhagavad Gétä.
iv. Säìkhya Yoga in the context of Bhagavad Gétä.


Chapter 3: (7 hours)
Types of Yogas in the Context of Bhagavad Gétä

i. Jïäna, Bhakti and Räja Yoga in the context of Bhagavad Gétä.
ii. Karma yoga in Bhagavad Gétä.
iii. Sannyäsa yoga in Bhagavad Gétä.
iv. Säìkhya yoga in Bhagavad Gétä.


Chapter 4: (7 hours)
Application of Bhagavad Gétä in Human Life

i. Bhagavad Gétä and Psychoanalysis.
ii. Triguëas in the context of Bhagavad Gétä.
iii. Diet and lifestyle for a yogé in Bhagavad Gétä.
iv. Lord Kåñëa’s advice for Arjuna’s despondency (its application in life).
