SANDHYÁVIDHIH & VEDIC CHANTING

Introduction:
The visible divine form for all Vedántic and Yogic practitioners is The Sun god. There are innumerable hymns in Vedic literature narrating the magananimity and utility of the Solar cosmicenergy. In the Hindu tradition knowing this fact full well our ancestors had laid down the tradition of Sandhyávandana in morning and evening, during the period of day and night meet. In order to facilitate the smooth function of this daily duty they have formulated methodologies in the light of scientific insight.

Chapter 1(8 hours)
The meaning of Püravańga and Uttaráňga of Sandhyá Vidhi, Process of purification of body and mind (Márjana and Arghyapradána), Mudrás (Ańganyásas and Karanyásas), Modes of chanting Gáyatrč and other required Mantras.

Chapter 2 (8 hours)
Importance of Upasthána offering the prayer to different deities and saints in different directions, Initiation of Paňcákúarč and Aúűákúarč.

Chapter 3 (9 hours)
Performance of Agni Kárya and study of necessary hymns

Note:
— 3 hours for taking a special guidance while preparing their assignments and doing reference works.
— 2 hours for conducting seminars and colloquiums.
