Chapter 1 (8 hours)
An introduction to the important role of Upaniúadic literature in the whole Vedic gamut, Division of Saýhitá and Bráhmaïa. The role of Upaniúads in spiritual science, Study of consciousness as a part of modern science.

Chapter 2(8 hours)
Èùávásyopaniúat, Definition of Mumukúu and Jijèviúu, the meaning of master key words like Asuryá, Avidyá, Vidyá, Sambhüti, Asambhüti.

Chapter 3(8 hours)
Meaning and purport of all the Mantras of Èùávásyopaniúad with proper comparison and contrast.

Chapter 4(10 hours)
Kaûhopaniúat an introductory note to the uniqueness of this Upaniúad, The background of Naciketá and Yama episode.

Chapter 5(12 hours)
Discrimination of boons and queries, An insight about Yoga in this Upaniúad.

Chapter 6(7 hours)
Metaphysical description of consciousness (Átmánaý Rathinaý Viddhi, Átmanaç paramaý adam, Indriyebhyaç paraý – special reference to)

Note:
— 5 hours for taking a special guidance while preparing their assignments and doing reference works. — 2 hours for conducting seminars and colloquiums.
