Chapter 1:(20 hours)
1. Interrupted/modified D.C
a) Stimulation of muscles
b) Diagnostic tests: F.G Test, S.D test, Fatigue test, Uses of surged faradism and interrupted galvanism in various peripheral nerve lesions: Neuroproxia, Axonotimosis, Neurotomosis.

Chapter 2:(20 hours)
1. High frequency current treatment: Short-wave diathermy, Microwave diatherapy, Ultravioiet radiation, Ultrasonics Setting up of a apparatus including selection of method and electrics, techniques, preparation of patient, chocking, contra indications, applications for various conditions and various parts of the body. The students must practice the above various machines.

Chapter 3:(20 hours)
1. Demonstration and practice of active and passive movements, Suspension therapy.
2. Muscle strength; Demonstration and practice of strengthening exercises, re -education.
4. Joint movement: demonstration and practice of techniques to improve joint range of motion.
5. Demonstration of various pathological gaits.
6. Measurement of crutches, walking aids, strengthening of crutch muscles, crutch balance, demonstration and practice of ail crutch gaits.
7. Breathing exercise: demonstration and practice of diaphragmatic breathing, localized expansion exercises.
8. Passive stretching: techniques of passive stretching to sternornastoid muscles, shoulder abductors, flexors elbow flexors, supinator, wrist and finger flexors in upper limbs passive stretching to hip flexors, adductors, Itio-tibia! band, tensorfasciatata, quadriceps, knee flexors, tendoachilis etc.
