Rheumatic diseases and conditions are characterized by symptoms involving the musculoskeletal system. Many of the rheumatic diseases and conditions feature immune system abnormalities. Therefore, rheumatology also involves the study of the immune system

Anatomical description of systems involved in rheumalogy:
- Muscles, Joints, Connective tissue & soft tissue around the joints and bones.
- Immune system

Common ailments
1. Pain-deffinition, Pain gate theory, Biochemical events, pathways & treatment.
2. Diseases like Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteo arthritis, Osteoporosis, Lupus, Polymyositis, Polymayalgia, Septic arthritis, Gout, Vasculitis, Arteritis, Kawasaki diseases, fibromyalgia, Sarcoidosis, Polymyalgia rheumatic, Polymyositis, dermatomyositis & Myasthenia gravis.
