Chapter 1:(10 hours)
Mud Therapy
1. Introduction to Mud Therapy.
2. Classification of mud for therapeutic use.
3. Precaution for storing Mud.
4. Methods of treatment of Mud-applications, packing, hot pouitles, effect of Mud on different systems of body.
5. Natural mud bath, full and partial mudpacks, mud plaster, thermal bath, dry pack and sand pack and sand baths.
6. Cosmetic uses of mud.

Acupuncture
1. Definition, concepts of acupuncture.
2. Traditional and modern theories of acupuncture.
3. Materials and methods of acupuncture.
4. Principles of acupuncture.
5. Rules for the selection of acupuncture points.
6. Contraindications and complication of acupuncture.
7. The concepts & different meridians of the bodily contents.
8. The extra- ordinary points.
9. Diagnostic methods (both acupuncture and modern).
10. Auriculo therapy.
11. Moxibustion.
12. Stimulation in acupuncture.
13. Acupuncture anaesthesia.
14. Reflexology and zone therapy.

8. Indications and contradictions of Fasting.
9. Therapeutic aspects of Fasting.
