Chapter 1 (8 hours)
Introduction to Bhagavadgita-1

i. General Introduction to Bhagavad Gita (B.G.): Definitions of Yoga in B.G., Their relevance and Scope. The Glory of B.G.
ii. Essentials of B.G from Chapters II, III, IV, V, VI, XII, XVII with reference to Yoga and Ahara.
iii. Sthitaprajna and its characteristics. Types of Bhaktas and role of a Bhakta in the context of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.
iv. Jnana Yoga in the context of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.

Chapter 2 (8 hours)
Introduction to Bhagavadgita – 2

i. Nature of Atma, Sthitaprajna, Sankhya Yoga, Karma Yoga, Karma Sannyasa, Sakama and Niskama karma.
ii. Nature of Dhyana, preparation of Dhyana and Dhyana Yoga and Sannyasayoga.
iii. Nature of Bhakti, Means and Goal of Bhakti Yoga, Nature of Ishvara in Bhagavad Gita.
iv. Sankhya Yoga in the context of Bhagavad Gita.

Chapter 3 (7 hours)
Types of Yogas in the Context of Bhagavad Gita

i. Jnana, Bhakti and Raja Yoga in the context of Bhagavad Gita.
ii. Karma yoga in Bhagavad Gita.
iii. Sannyasa yoga in Bhagavad Gita.
iv. Sankhya yoga in Bhagavad Gita.

Chapter 4 (7 hours)
Application of Bhagavad Gita in Human Life

i. Bhagavad Gita and Psychoanalysis.
ii. Trigunas in the context of Bhagavad Gita.
iii. Diet and lifestyle for a yogi in Bhagavad Gita.
iv. Lord Krsna’s advice for Arjuna’s despondency (its application in life).
