PROMOTION OF POSITIVE HEALTH
Yoga is not only a process by which disorders and diseases are rectified but also a process to move from normal health to positive health and finally to perfect health.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Yoga was believed to be only preventative. Yoga Therapy Research has shown that it is very useful in healing chronic ailments and also during acute episodes. These techniques are complementary to other effective treatments for which the modern medical science is known. It helps in tapering off the medication.

SCIENTIFIC APPROACH
The treatment combines medical technology with yoga therapy techniques that are developed by systematic scientific research over two decades. (refer our Research Publication and Anvesana). An integrated approach is used.

MEDICAL CARE
All the practices and techniques will be done under the regular care of the resident medical doctors who have also specialized in the yoga way of treatment.

EMERGENCIES AND FIRST AID
Facilities for immediate management of emergencies or acute episodes are available. (Life-saving drugs, cardiac monitors and oxygen) 24 hours ambulance services to the city are ensured.

EASY YOGA !
Very simple yoga practices, asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas, Meditation, science of emotions culture, svadhyaya are used and aimed at prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. Special yoga techniques for specific ailments are taught. The threefold maxim of yoga is used.

RELAX THE BODY, SLOW THE BREATH AND CALM THE MIND YOGA PRACTICES
Trained yoga teachers help the patients to understand and learn the practices in a serene, tranquil and homely atmosphere.

INDIAN TRADITION
An Integrated Approach of Yoga Therapy derived from yoga texts is used (IAYT refer Research report No. VK YTRC/002/81).

DIET
Simple, wholesome, vegetarian, yogic diet will be provided. Fruits and other eatables pre scribed by our doctors, are available on request.

LIBRARY
Good library facilities with more than 15,000 books on yoga and philosophy.

SHOP
Yoga equipment, books and stationery, other basic necessities are available at the campus shop.

Washing and laundry charges extra
No room service
Extra charges for any special medical assistance like medicine administered on
prescription by our doctors, laboratory charges, shifting to any other hospital in case of
emergency, consultation with other consultants etc.
Eatables brought from outside are not allowed.
Non-vegetarian food, use of tobacco, alcohol and narcotic drugs are strictly prohibited
Do not stop any medicines on your own. They should be altered as per our doctors' advice

DURATION
Two to four weeks based on our doctors' advice.

1.30 to 3.00 pm and 5.15 to 6.30 pm

Right of admission reserved Admissions will be made on Fridays only

Torch, Candles, Match Box, Mosquito repellant All the medicines already prescribed (enough for your duration of stay)

RETURN RESERVATIONS
Outstation participants are to make necessary arrangements for their return after their stay in Prashanti Kutiram

DRESS REQUIREMENTS
For yoga sessions Pyjamas or track suit and T-shirt for gents Salvar Kurta or track suit and T-shirt for ladies For Daily use Please wear decent clothing to suit the serene atmosphere of the Ashram.

Rainy season : June to November Equip yourself with an umbrella or a raincoat and cap

Yoga Sudha, our monthly magazine will be sent to you for one complete year. This is our newsletter by which you could be in touch with the various activities of VYASA.
