Diabetic Neuropathy of Feet   Glaucoma
Nerve damage or diabetic neuropathy can be one of the frustrating and debilitating complication of diabetes because of the pain, discomfort and disability for which available treatment are not uniformly successful. The symptoms of this peripheral neuropathy may begin with numbness, tingling and pain in toes, feet, legs fingers and hands are usually mild for several years.
 
Glaucoma is an eye disease in which the normal fluid pressure inside the eyes slowly rises, leading to vision loss - or even blindness. This is about open-angle glaucoma, the most common form of the disease. At the front of the eye, there is a small space called the anterior chamber. Clear fluid flows in and out of the chamber to bathe and nourish nearby tissues.
     
 
     
Diabetes Mellitus   Metabolic Syndrome
Diabetes is a life style related condition due to an imbalance in handling a glucose load and is not a disease. It is one of the several life style related chronic conditions with an end result of complications that are related to early aging changes resulting in blockage of small and large arteries. There are an estimated 100 million diabetics in the world of which around 70 million belongs to heavily populated developing countries.
 

Syndrome x or metabolic syndrome is a collection of health risks that increase the chance of developing heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. It is characterized by three or more of the following abdominal obesity,A blood pressure of 130/85 mm Hg or higher, a fasting blood glucose (sugar) level greater than 100 mg/dl, a triglyceride level above 150 mg/dl and a high density lipoprotein level (HDL) less than 40 mg/dl.
